Introduction
Legacy of Dead came out on 2 January 2020. It tells of an Egyptian king who escapes the Book of the Dead to reclaim his treasure. It plays on five reels with up to 10 paylines.
Its official rules give an average RTP of 96.58%, higher than Book of Dead's. Play'n GO does not publish the volatility or the max win.
Key mechanics
As in Book of Dead, the scatter is also wild. Three or more trigger 8 free spins with a special symbol that expands when enough of it lands.
The difference is in the retrigger: every time free spins are triggered again, another expanding special symbol is added. It also has the option to double or quadruple a win with the cards.
Verdict
If you know Book of Dead, this is the same with two changes that matter: a slightly higher RTP and more expanding symbols on each retrigger.
